Riggs, Aubrey "Butch", 68, of Land O' Lakes, Fl died August 20, 2012.
Viewing Thursday August 23rd from 6-8 pm with funeral service Friday August 24th at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
A great friend and mentor. Your smile and laughter will be missed Butch. God bless your family and may God be with them during this difficult time. You will be missed my friend.

Butch was a hands-on teacher who led by example. In the 35 years I knew him he never shirked a task or failed to get something done. His units, coworkers, and associates were made better by Butch Riggs passing their way. On a personal note, he was a friend to me and did me more favors than I can ever detail.
ReplyDeleteAll of us expected Butch to enjoy many post-retirement years. Many of us suspected he would never really retire. We were right. He was on the job until the end.
God Speed Butch. You were one in a million and will be missed. Thank you Sir for a job well done and the friendship and mentoring you gave me.
