Robert Dong

Dong, Robert, 53, of Trinity, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, August 27, 2011.  Robert is survived by his wife, Wendy; sons, Calvin and Jordan; sister, Lily; and nieces and nephews. A proud math teacher at Martinez Middle School, Robert enjoyed teaching immensely.  Funeral services will take place at 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 30 at Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.  Donations my be made to HPH Hospice or Martinez Middle School in Hillsborough County.

Thomas Edward Pallatt

Pallatt, Thomas Edward, 70, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida after a sudden illness. Thomas retired to New Port Richey, Florida in 2008, his lifelong dream. He was born in Philadelphia on November 10, 1940 to Helen Smith Pallatt and William Pallatt. Thomas graduated from Frankford High School in 1959. He was married to married to Vance Alexander Pallatt in June, 1969. He lived in Philadelphia, Bensalem, and Skippack, Pennsylvania before moving to New Port Richey, Florida in 2009. He was a Sea Scout, Volunteer Firefighter, avid boater and loved the water. Over the years Thomas was employed by Janney Cylinder, Crane, Honeywell, and Wesco from where he retired in 2005. In retirement he traveled to the Philippines and Vietnam as well as the Western United States.
Thomas is survived by his two daughters: Denise Pallatt Buechner and her husband Christopher Buechner (Bensalem PA), Patricia Pallatt Williams and her husband Walter Todd Williams (Carbondale, CO). His three granddaughters: Morgan Buechner, Kaylie Buechner and Madison Buechner (Bensalem, PA), his two brothers and two sisters: William Pallatt (Victorville, CA), Barbara Pallatt Smith and her husband Robert Smith (Philadelphia, PA), Patricia Pallatt Stich and her husband Thomas Stich (Mansfield, PA), and Richard Pallatt (Toledo, OH), his Aunt Elma Pallatt (Andalusia, PA), and Brother-in-Law Alfred J. DeSimone (Trappe, PA), his friend and companion: Joshua Bernstein (New Port Richey, FL). Thomas was predeceased in death by his sister Madeline “Lyn” Pallatt DeSimone, May 2011.
A memorial service will be held at the Heritage Lake Clubhouse at Heritage Lake 9151 Heritage Lake Blvd, New Port Richey, FL 34655 on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11AM.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Thomas’ memory to the National MS Society Colorado-Wyoming Chapter, PO Box 172625, Denver, CO 80217-2625 or for the Critical Care Tower Intensive Care Unit at St Joseph’s Hospital through St. Joseph’s Hospitals Foundation, SJHFoundation.org or 3001 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa FL 33607.

John A. Crawford

Crawford, John Albert, 68 of Trinity, FL. passed away August 3, 2011. Born October 4, 1942 to John T. and Hazel M. Crawford in Indianapolis, In. A former resident of Carmel, In., the 1961 graduate of Broad Ripple High School was a Varsity Baseball and Football player. Following graduation, he became a certified Dental Technician opening Crawford Dental Lab at age 26. John was well respected by all who knew him and enjoyed activities with his children. His passion for golf gave him many lifelong friends. Every golfers dream, a “hole in one,” was celebrated by John on October 6, 2010, at Fox Hollow Golf Club. John also became a strong snow skier. From early ski trips to Michigan and later to Colorado, he taught his children love of the sport.

Surviving John are his loving children, John (Krista), Palm Harbor, Fl., daughter Debbie, Hollywood, Ca., and the best thing he ever did, Ted, Palm Harbor, Fl., sister Sally McCarthy (Bob) Greenwood, IN. Grandsons, Cash and Chase Crawford and several nieces and nephews. He had the privilege of having two wives, Patricia and Andrea.
Visitation Saturday August 6th from 9 am until service time at 10 am at Trinity Memorial Gardens, New Port Richey. Please wear your best golf shirt in memory of John.  Funeral service to be followed by a celebration of life at Fox Hollow Golf Club. The family suggests memorial donations to Gulfside Regional Hospice.

Catherine Jordan

Jordan, Catherine, 97, of Palm Harbor, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011. She is survived by 3 children, Joseph Jordan of Doylestown, PA; Teresa Dondrea of Marboro, NJ; and Marie Cannon of Palm Harbor.  A memorial Mass at St. Ignatius Catholic Church will be scheduled at a later date.

Angelina Joseph

Joseph, Angelina Marilyn, of Odessa, born March 3, 1941 in Syracuse, New York, passed away July 29th, 2011 after a long battle with breast cancer.  Angie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dr. Gilbert W. (“Joe”) Joseph; her daughter Christine L. Flacke; her mother Josephine Antelmi; her sister Anna Marie Antelmi; and her two brothers, Rocco and Michael Antelmi. Angie earned her Associate in Arts degree from the University of Maryland and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida.  She retired in 2010 as the Director of Marketing and Circulation for the Tampa Bay Business Journal.  Her career at the journal spanned twenty five years during which her achievements gained her national acclaim many times from American City Business Journals, Inc. parent company of the Tampa Bay Business Journal.  A viewing will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 12609 Memorial Drive, New Port Richey, FL 34655 from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3 with an opportunity for sharing memorial testimonies at 6:30 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, 12708 North Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa, FL 33618  at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, followed by interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation be made in Angie’s name to Moffitt Cancer Center, 12902 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612 or to Life Path Hospice Center, 12973 N. Telecom Parkway, Suite 100, Temple Terrace, FL 33637.  She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
