  1. I only came to know Al over the past few years. From my dealings with him, he was an honest man; man of few words; but knowledgeable and sincere. He will be missed. Our condolences go out to Laureen, her children, and Al's children and family. May he rest in peace.

Taken far too soon, but for some purpose I am certain. We were not at all prepared to have you go. Our heats are broken. We love you so very much and always will.

  5. In our walk through life, we meet many sorts of life. When I met Alan Roberts, I met a good person. He made me feel good just being around him. To drop by and talk a moment with Alan easily turned into a while because I treasured the laughter we shared. It's so impressive to know some of the history and mystery of his life. The test drive he took on President Nixon's boat which was a gift from Nikita Kruschef. His training while in the Coast Guard, swimming off the Florida Keys. Gosh, I could go on and on. Thanks Alan Roberts, for being a part of my life. You always will be.

  9. Dear Laureen and Roberts Family,
I met Allen 5 or 6 years ago and realized immediately he was a wonderful person that I was lucky to call friend. Every time I ran into Allen he was smiling, upbeat and ready with a great story! I will miss him. Please accept my condolences, and let me know if I can be of service in any way.

    Sincerely,
    George Foster
