Sandy Burnham, 59, of Odessa, Fl, died July 8, 2012.
Gathering of friends Sunday, July 15th from 11 am until memorial service at 1 pm, in the funeral home chapel.
Spirit Lady, You taught me so many wonderful things. Just standing next to you talking one day, I glanced down as you washed a glass in you sink. Though we were talking I noticed how you lovingly and thoroughly washed this glass. Now when I wash dishes instead of thinking it as drugery...I lovingly wash my dishes, greatful to be able to do so fully present and enjoying my humble duty. This is just a small example of the things I learned from Sandy. You will always have a special place in my heart and you have permanently transformed my life as well as many others. Love And Ultimate Respect Judy M.
Sandy you left us before we were ready to let you go. I'm sure GOD needed an angel with a brillant smile and loving ways. You had the ability to always say the right thing and know when to do it. You are unforgetable and I will miss you. Love always Schrey
Sandy...you were the first person I met when I decided to join my new home group of ladies down here in Tampa. I was impressed with this blonde driving up on her motorcycle....hand extended in greeting. Thank you for being there. Sorry you are not with us 'down here' anymore, but know you are among many wonderful friends of Bill's. tomi
Sandy, although i did not know you well, whenever i saw you at Grace, you were a ray of sunshine. Your loving spirit will live on forever. thank you for being you and caring for so many others.
Sincerity and authenticity; that was Sandy. She lived her life as we all should... with a strong faith, loving heart, compassion, service and serenity. Sandy loved unconditionally and will remain an icon (angel on a motorcycle)to everyone who had the gift of knowing her. Go Sandy... ride those clouds in the sky! It was such an honor to share our lives with you Sweet Spirit Lady! We miss you but will see you again, Your "Family"
Sandy, you will be missed! You walked the talk and practiced the principles of a higher way of living in all your affairs. You always had something positive and loving to say and we will miss your light shining in our lives! "SpiritLady" said it all. And now you can be free of all the difficulties of our earth life. Free to express your loving spirit. Thank you for your example and all the love you shared, Sue
Thank you for your smile and welcoming ways when I first rode with you. May our heavenly Father watch over your family and friends you left behind but knowing we shall all meet again. You blessed many!

ReplyDeleteA Thought To Light Your Heart
ReplyDeleteAs your days close
And find your way home,
A memory will come
With a comforting smile
Of all those who have passed by.
Thank you for all you gave.
Bill & Sheri Brown-Cookson Hills Toy Run
Joyful times shared
A friendship goes on.
Another journey
Through the years
Of all those yet to come.
Laughter and tears give Grace
To warm the soul,
And bring a sigh
To light the heart within
Of all those whose soul’s are touched.
May God's love give you peace
The strength to carry on
And guide you safely
To Heaven's door.
Thank you for all you gave.
Sandy-
ReplyDeleteThe winds wisks by,
I don't know why...
I hear a sigh!
And we say goodbye!
You will be missed, but I know that your spirit is no further than the nearest rainbow, beautiful sunrise, or magnificent yellow, sunshiny rosebud!
All my love dear friend--
Sandy R. (& "Julia") :) :)
