LOWE, Carol Ann 68, died peacefully June 22, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born Aug. 23, 1943 in Batavia, IL to John Paul and Carol Louise Johnson. Carol spent her childhood in Batavia IL, where she met and married Michael Lowe. Later she moved with her husband to Bethany, OK, Orange Park, & Coral Springs before finally settling in the Tarpon Springs area. Carol was a homemaker and devoted her life to raising her sons. Affectionately known as "Mimi", Carol was a loving mother of four and grandmother of seven. She enjoyed playing Bridge with her bridge group, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael Lowe; mother, Carol Louise Johnson; sisters, Paulette Johnson and Joan Hillier; brother, Peter Johnson; sons, and their spouses, Michael and Erin Lowe, Scott and Hong Qi Lowe, Timothy and Tracie Lowe, Jeffrey and Jessica Lowe; and seven grandchildren: Georgia Lee Lowe, John Paul Lowe, Ryan Elizabeth Lowe, Reese Caroline Lowe, Lillyann Ziqi Lowe, Gunderson Mackay Lowe and Jason Ming Lowe. She is preceded in death by her father, John Paul Johnson. Carol was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be missed by many and remembered for her selfless and giving spirit. A visitation will be held Wednesday June 27 from 6 pm to 8 pm. A memorial service will be held Thursday June 28 at 1 pm. Both will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity. Donations may be made to The Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation and the Morton Plant Mease Foundation.
