Emilia Ramona Gonzalez, 47, of Odessa, died May 12, 2012
Viewing Thursday may 17th from 6-8 pm with funeral service friday May 18th, 10 am at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
Emilia's passing has saddened us beyond words. Even though our faith tells us we should rejoice that she is with God, it is still difficult for those left behind. Praying for His peace and the comfort of friends to see you through this difficult time. I rushed up to the Sound Booth at the back of the church yesterday morning and took a picture of the love than encompassed you from our church family. I said to Sharon (Herbert), "This is what LOVE LOOKS like! Love can touch, where words can't reach!" Our prayers go out to your family. We are truly sorry for your loss. You now have an Angel watching over you. Sorrow is not forever. Love is. Emilia's life touched so many...Her heart reached out in countless ways... Her beautiful smile would light up the room...She gave so much to so many people. . .That legacy will live on. . . forever.
O Lord Support us all the day long of this troublous life, until the shadows lengthen, the evening comes, the busy world is hushed, the fever of life is over, and our work is done. Then Lord , in your mercy, grant us safe lodging, a Holy rest, and peace at the last. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
We know that Emelia has been granted safe lodging and a Holy Rest and we send you all our love and our deepest sympathy at this sad time. God bless you all and may your faith in him comfort you in your loss.
