His family includes his wife Menetta; his loving children Michael Modica, Richard and Barbara Modica, Carol Conologue and Diane and Raymond Izzo; and ten beautiful granchildren, Christa, Lauren, Colby, Kayla, Victoria, Alexander, Jaclyn, Michael, Christopher and Gabrielle. Jones, Nellie, 88, of Lutz, FL,  passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.  Entombment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.JONES, NELLIE ORIET, of Lutz, FL passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013, less than a month short of her 89th birthday in the arms of her loving family. She was born in Jonesville, Honduras, and had lived in the Tampa area since 1954. She was a skilled and gifted seamstress creating beautiful dresses, prom and wedding gowns, band costumes, and many other beautiful items. Her only two entries to the Florida State Fair were each first place winners for their respective years. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and her husband of 60 years, Victor Jones. She is survived by her children Andrew (Ann) Jones of Charleston, Vanie (John) Benedetto, and Nellie R Jones of Tampa and her grandchildren Andrea (Brian) Beattie of Bonaire, GA, Brian Kerns of Plant City, Melissa Hickok of Boynton Beach, and Giovanni (fianc‚ Bianca Conigliaro) Benedetto III of Tampa. She is also survived by 7 great grand children in FL and GA; three siblings all of Jonesville, Honduras; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and an amazing number of loving friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday , January 30, 2013, at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655, (888) 271-5820. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10 - 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to LifePath Hospice, 12470 Telecom Dr, Suite 300 W, Temple Terrace, FL 33637 in appreciation of the Blue Team's enormous care and support of the family, or to the Church of God at Brandon. Nellie's extraordinary life was a living testament to her love of family, God, and life. She never wavered from her path and leaves us a shining example to emulate.

Brian L. Verrette

Verrette, Brian L., 43, of New Port Richey, originally from Crowley, LA, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 in the arms of his wife and surrounded by his children and family.  Brian was a true warrior in the fight against cancer through his many years as a volunteer and leader with the American Cancer Society.  Brian was most proud of his years of service to our country in the US Navy.  He is survived by his wife, Karrol; children, Stephanie and Jordan Verrette; step children, Jonathan and Marc D’Elia, and Kyle Clark; parents, Paul and Martha Verrette; and brothers Mark Verrette and Troy Roth. Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25 at Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon on Saturday, Jan. 26 at Generations Christian Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Amalia Sabetti

SABETTI, Amalia "Nonna" 77, of New Port Richey, passed away on Jan. 11, 2013, surrounded by her loving children. She was born on May 4, 1935, in Tagliacozzo, Italy where she met and married her husband, Enzo Sabetti who preceded her in death. They had four children and moved to the United States in 1975. Nonna loved her family dearly. Having lost her mother young she was a self taught nurturer and homemaker. She spent her Sundays with her family having home cooked meals while laughing and reminiscing. She forged a deep and strong bond with all her children and especially her grandchildren. She was adored by them all and will be sorrowfully missed. She is survived by her sons, Mario Sabetti and Max Sabetti (Dana Galietta); grandsons, Anthony and Christopher Sabetti (Desirae Sabetti); her daughters, Gabriella Rossi (Mario Fontana) and Manuela Bruno (Michael Bruno); granddaughters, Tonia and Deana Rossi and granddaughters, Olivia and Sofia Bruno. Family will receive friends at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Monday Jan. 14, 2013, from 5-8 pm with mass on Tuesday Jan. 15, 2013, at St. Thomas of Aquinas at 9 am with entombment to follow.

Pritchard Sr., Dudley P., 80, of Port Richey, passed away Jan. 10, 2013. He was born March 17, 1932 in Tuckahoe, NY and is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Dorothy; two daughters, Dorothy Masumian (Scott), and Bonnie-Jean Brackett (Thomas); son, Dudley Pritchard Jr.(Debborah); 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.  He was a former member of the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department and retired from Westchester County Public Works Department.  He was also a Pasco County Sheriff School Crossing Guard and served in the US Army Reserve.  Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with funeral services on Monday, January 14 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (727-376-7824).
